love birds and oyster with pearls.  The adirondack chairs are in progress. The chairs have been a challenge! After making several sketches and  a pattern out of book binders paper, I rolled out slabs of clay and began cutting. It took several tries to construct the two here. Finally I realized that I had to approach it like a carpenter would. I put together the chair back, seat and arms separately and then joined the components together to make the chair.  Three days and many hours later these two are the result. Keep your fingers crossed for the first firing. If they make it throught that, they should survive the second and final glaze firing!
